The mission of the Anderson Area Soccer Association (AASA) is to
provide a fun, safe, and competitive learning environment for soccer
players in the surrounding community. The AASA is committed to
developing the player on the field, as well developing the person off the field.

The Anderson Area Soccer Association is a non-profit organization under
Internal Revenue Code Section 501 (c)(3). Donors may deduct contributions
made to AASA as provided in Internal Revenue Code Section 170.

The Anderson Area Soccer Association, better known as the Anderson
Blitz, was started in 1989.  The idea was to create a more competitive
league in Madison County for YMCA players to continue playing
in the area.  This was before there were any high school teams
in the area.  The Blitz was the first and, at the time,
only option available for older players.
